In the winter, when plants are dormant and trees are bare, we miss the color and lushness of flowers.

We chose some of our most realistic depictions of plants, in many media: painting, ceramic, glass, prints and photographs. Some are so detailed it’s hard to believe they are not actual flowers. This exhibit features images of flowers and plants from the library’s art collection.
