Alice C. Sabatini Gallery
The Alice C. Sabatini Gallery is your connection to the arts. We curate four main exhibits each year including the Summer Art Exhibit for Children. In addition to the large exhibits, gallery staff curate several exhibits throughout the library each year giving you opportunities to explore a wide variety of art and artists.
Chandler Pavilion
Next time you are at the library head south across the street to the small triangular park at SW Washburn and SW Horne.
Claire's Courtyard
Claire’s Courtyard is our outdoor amphitheater, patio and sunroom space where you to take your Millennium Café lunch, read a book, play cards or just sit and enjoy the water feature.
Level 2 Tech Center
The Level 2 Tech Center includes 30 public computers, two recording studios, five small team rooms, and a digital arts studio with 3 Macs and 3 PCs with high-end design software.
Stan Herd Mural
The mural painted by Kansan Stan Herd is located in the new books room and depicts the various geographic areas of Kansas. The paintings represent views of native grasses, trees, flowers and storms over the prairies.
Topeka Room
The Topeka Room contains books and other materials written, illustrated, produced or published by Topekans or about Topeka and Shawnee County history.
