In-person Learning - Computer and Gadget Help Workshops

Emma helps at Gadget Help class When you attend a Computer and Gadget Help workshop, you will get in-person help learning basic technology skills. For example:

Downloading documents to the files on your computer, smartphone, or tablet
Filling out online forms
Setting up or using your new laptop, smartphone, tablet or eReader
Using productivity suites like Microsoft Office, MS 365, or Google Workspace
Using productivity software like Word, Google Docs, Excel, and PowerPoint

Our teaching style - Self-directed learning

We are not technology experts. We are experts at figuring things out and helping others figure things out. We will encourage and support your self-directed learning activities. This may include guided demonstrations where you control the device while we walk you through the activity, or a more hands-off approach where we point you in the right direction, then remain close by in case you need help.

We don’t repair computers or remove malware.
