Games
You are your child’s first teacher and you know them the best. You can play these games at home to build memory and counting skills.
- On a piece of paper draw a door and a window. Write the word door or window by each picture. Walk with your child through your home to count doors and then windows.
Gather 4 tools from a toolbox and talk with your child about the name and purpose of each tool. Lay the tools out and cover them with a towel. Secretly, pick a tool up with the towel and ask your child, “What is missing?” Continue the game as long as your child has an interest.
