Civic Engagement
Making your voice heard
In addition to providing access to non-partisan and researched based information, we host events and programs to inform and engage citizens with local government and local conversations. Civic enagement includes making your voice heard on issues that are important to you, and learning to listen to and join discussions with others in the community.

Community Conversations
The library hosts events and opportunities to talk to others in the community.
Voting & elections
We post information about upcoming elections on our website, provide voter registration forms at the customer service desk and co-host candidate meet and greet events with nonpartisan partners before primary and general elections. Additionally, on the first Tuesday of most months, the library hosts the League of Women Voters "Tuesday Topics" presenter to discuss various civic engagement topics.
