Water Wheel Challenge

We are excited to have the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center join us every Wednesday for some Discovery with the Library. This week Caitlin brings you the Water Wheel Challenge.

Materials:

  • Recycled materials
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Stream of water

Directions:

  1. Use recycled materials to create a structure that will spin.
  2. Think about how the water will hit different parts of the structure and the forces required to keep the wheel turning.
