Paving the Way to Claire’s Courtyard

Your name or message can be set in stone in the amphitheater of Claire’s Courtyard, with construction set to begin later this year on the west side of the library. This new outdoor space will also offer visitors al fresco dining and a pavilion for library events. Claire’s Courtyard is funded by a gift from Dr. Glenn Swogger and is named after his beloved late wife Claire.

Be a part of Claire’s Courtyard when you purchase a 4” x 8” brick with two lines of engraving for $75 or increase to a larger 8” x 8” brick to add up to four lines of engraving for only $125.

There is no limit to the number of bricks you may purchase. An engraved brick is a perfect way to honor loved ones, or remember family and friends. The commemorative bricks will be set in Claire’s Courtyard amphitheater seating area. Funds will provide furnishings for this new area.

“I will delight in the public being included in the building of Claire’s Courtyard,” said Dr. Swogger. “I believe this outdoor space at the library will be enjoyed by so many and adding the commemorative bricks will make it extra special.”

Place your order online at foundation.tscpl.org or mail a form provided at the library’s information desk to The Library Foundation.
