What lurks beneath the library

Your books and movies returned in the drop box made their way underground

While you are blissfully spending time on the library’s main level, many things are moving beneath you in the tunnels. In honor of Halloween, here’s a glimpse at the darkness below ground.

It may seem like ghosts are transporting your books back to the shelf, but it’s actually a zombie-like automated machine and its accomplices doing the work. There are also mazes of cubes where strange silent beings stare into glowing boxes.

But all is not quiet in the subsurface. There is often a rattle and eerie footsteps behind employees walking in the subterranean hallways. There is even a mysterious door that is half covered by the ceiling and pipes.

When you don’t see us on the main level, we’ve gone underground!
