Kids (Elementary)

Kids can grow up with the library and blossom into readers! Come visit the magical Kids Library to find wonder, stories and friends. Kids can also rely on our awesome kids library staff to hook them up with their next favorite read, or to help you find resources to assist with homework. Out in the community, kids can climb aboard the Bookmobiles to check out books and movies. Get the kids in your life connected to the library for a brighter future.

Kids Library

The Kids Library offers a projection screen in the storytime area, imaginative play areas, a saltwater aquarium, enclosed infant play area, a campground and a rock-climbing wall. Teens have their own area that includes books, gaming computers and casual seating.

What has 10 numbers and will make you laugh? Call-a-Joke from TSCPL! Call 785-580-4663 to hear a librarian tell a silly joke to make you smile. A new joke is available every Monday!
