Starting February 1st Packets of tax forms will be available from the Library for curbside pickup or in building pickup.
Our packet of tax forms will have all the tax forms we have available at the time.
NOTE: We are out of the Kansas Homestead Claim forms and the Kansas Schedule S forms. We are also out of 1040 Instruction booklets. (5/14/21)

VITA – Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
VITA services will be done by mail in 2021.

April 1st is the last day that VITA will accept tax information for preparation.
Community Action provides tax preperation at no cost to low income households. This service is available to Shawnee County households with an income level under 200% of Federal Poverty level. Tax services in Spanish are available. Call (785) 836-4500 to make an appointment or to find out more information.
The last day Community Action will help prepare taxes is 5/14/21. As of 5/7/21, all available appointments had been filled.

Contact the Community Resources Council at (785) 233-1365 request an appointment. April 30, 2021 is the last day they will be preparing taxes.
