Include the library in your summer plans! Family fun, stories, art, music, games and of course, the Summer Reading Challenge for all ages in June and July. Kids and teens get a prize for every 2 hours of reading up to 8 hours. Adults get a prize for reading 3 books and a prize for 6 books.

Make the library your destination for summer adventures!

Saturday, June 1, 11am - 1pm

Summer Kickoff Party all over the library!

You’ll find the fun in the west parking lot, Claire's Courtyard, Marvin Auditorium, and Learning Center. Step carefully into the Alice C. Sabatini Gallery because the Floor is Lava exhibit is a learning adventure about the science of volcanos.

You can touch some trucks, have your face painted, bust a move and groove to live music by Switch in Time, and play games. Check out the Adventuremobile and join the Curiosity Club.

Enjoy demonstrations by the McEachron Elementary Unicycle team, Ad Astra Youth Roller Derby, Great Plains Balloon Club and My Gym.

Need to refuel -- you're welcome to buy lunch from the Millennium Cafe.
