Study for the ACT at Home

studying teenEven as it seems like the world has ground to a halt, life continues to march along, bringing opportunities and responsibilities with it. Schools are closed but the ACT is rapidly approaching. June 13, the test date, seems like just a moment away itself. Luckily, we have resources to help you prepare from home! All you need to gain access is your library card.

Through Hoopla and OverDrive, we have multiple ebooks to help you study for the test! Several are subject specific if there is a particular area you need to work a little extra on.

Another valuable resource is the Learning Express Library. This is one of my personal favorite library resources as it offers practice tests in all of the ACT subjects. Even better, Learning Express provides instant feedback on your performance! This tool will allow you to simulate taking the test, even putting a timer on your practice tests. Then you receive scores and opportunities to improve in your weaker areas.

While we can’t eliminate any test taking anxiety you might feel, we can help you be as prepared as possible! We are rooting for you!
