They’re soft and fluffy and looking for a good home. That’s right… this summer’s first AdventureMobile animal is kittens!  These cute and cuddly balls of fur, available for adoption from the Topeka Helping Hands Humane Society, will be featured on the Adventuremobile  May 27th-May 30th. Don’t worry. If you can’t adopt one of these adorable kittens, we have lots of books filled with fun facts about cats that you can take home instead.

Make sure kids pick up a Critter Club Card this week and get it stamped. Each week they visit the Adventuremobile to see a new animal they will earn another stamp. Once their Critter Card has obtained seven stamps, the child recieves a fun prize.

The Summer Reading Program, Fizz… Boom… Read, is in full swing too. Visitors of all ages can sign up for the program, log their reading times, and pick up their prizes on the Adventuremobile. Check out the schedule to find a stop near you.
