What is a Community Novel Project?

A community novel is one that is collaboratively conceptualized, written, illustrated, narrated, edited and published by members of your community. The goal of the Community Novel Project is to help writers gain skills and learn techniques that transfer to their writing careers, through working together on a collaborative writing project. This project developed out of our library’s Come Write In programming in support of NaNoWriMo.

Community Novel Project – The Stories behind the Stories
Sunday, September 24, 2017 | 2-4 p.m. | Marvin Auditorium Adults
Celebrate the accomplishment of collaborating on a literary writing and publishing project with author interviews, conversations about the process, the stories behind the stories and autographed bookplates.

Find upcoming events to gain skills and learn techniques. Community Novel Project is open to anyone who wants to learn more about being a writer, editor, marketer, or gain experience in any other role needed to successfully self-publish a book.
