Día: Let's get to know each other
With music and dancing, crafts and games, stories and free books for kids (while supplies last), a day at Día is a chance to see the amazing variety of cultures in our community and to learn about someone different from you.
People of all ages and backgrounds will enjoy visiting the booths at the Día Family Festival, with a Performance Showcase to follow on Saturday, April 30. Kids aprendaran un poqito de Español at Bilingual Storytime on Friday morning and Read with a Ranger Saturday morning.

Join us for a multicultural, multilingual storytime celebrating El Día de Los Niños/El Día de Los Libros – Children’s Day/Book Day. Head to the Sabatini Gallery after for a super fun art project. And get a free book, while supplies last! Funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Día: Multicultural Storytime: Read With a Ranger La hora del cuento multicultural: Lee con el guardabosque
Ranger Angela Estep will read Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, a book about sharing and the many different beautiful fish in existence today. And we’ll talk about different colors of people and respect.
El guardabosque Angela Estep va a leer Rainbow Fish por Marcus Pfister. El tema del libro es acerca de compartir y como existen hoy diferentes y lindos peces. Vamos a hablar sobre el respeto y com las personas son de diferentes colores de piel.

Celebrate diversity through a wide variety of hands-on activities, including crafts, Israeli folk dancing, and an Instrument Petting Zoo. Tour the library and visit local partners highlighting cultures from our community and around the world. Free book while supplies last. Funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
