Co-Managed IT Services RFQ

Overview:

We are seeking a partner to engage in Co-Managed IT Services and is accepting proposals in response to this Request for Qualifications to find a qualified vendor to provide service and support in accordance with our needs. Our goal with this initiative is to:

  1. Optimize and secure the IT infrastructure of TSCPL.
  2. Allow for efficient and standards-based planning, implementation, and documentation of TSCPL’s IT systems.
  3. Coordinate and institute a support system for the TSCPL IT Department’s supplementation and oversight via a co-managed IT services partner.
  4. Ensure the security, redundancy, and availability of IT systems and documentation critical to the successful operation of TSCPL.
  5. Ensure TSCPL can seamlessly operate to provide a full experience for visitors and attendees.

Timeline:

  • RFQ issued: March 1, 2023.
  • Submission of Proposals: March 31, 2023 at 3:00 PM (Responses must be received prior to this time).
  • April 2023: On-site interviews with as many as five vendors.
  • Board Consideration of Award: May 18, 2023, 4:00 PM. Vendors do not need to be present at the Board meeting).
  • Notification of Decision to Bidders: On or before May 22, 2023, via email.
  • Contract awarded: Upon final legal approval.

New and Novel Renovations RFP

The work includes demoing a portion of the existing finishes, then providing new finishes and custom millwork desks and displays, and providing and relocating electrical and data. The area of work currently houses the Library’s New Books collection and will be renovated to re-organize the collections and accommodate additional lounge space.

Furniture will be ordered and replaced through a separate contract, offering varied seating options and new shelving units.

New and Novel Renovations Furniture Package(s) RFP

The work includes providing new furniture, lounge pieces, occasional tables, shelving, and a custom height-adjustable staff desk the New and Novel Collections space. This request for proposal includes three bid packages. Dealerships may bid Package A, Package B, Package C, or a combination of the furniture packages. Dealerships are not required to bid all packages to be considered, however only complete Bids for individual packages will be considered.

Renovations will proceed the installation of furniture, therefore, delivery and installation will need to be coordinated with the General Contractor.
