West Parking Lot

The library owns the ground west of the Library. The current site is underdeveloped and the Library is looking to this project for improvements. Existing paving will be removed, ground will be re-graded and a new parking lot will be constructed. The side walk along 10th street will be moved south, making it safer since it won’t be directly next to the street.

  • Optional site visit prior to bid opening. Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 11:00 am CDT
  • Submission of Bidder Questions*: Wednesday,  November 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm CDT
  • Bid Receiving: Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM CST; bids must be received prior to this time
  • Board Consideration of Award: Thursday, November 19, 2020 4:00 pm CDT; bidders do not need to be present at the Board meeting
  • Notification of Decision of Bidders: on or before November 23, 2020 (via email)
  • Contract Awarded: Upon final legal approval
  • Projection Completion Date: as indicated by the contractor on the bid form; anticipate early Spring 2021
