Resumes & Cover Letter
Intro
The process of applying for a new job may require you to provide a resume. The purpose of your resume and cover letter is to attract a prospective employer's interest in you.
You might need to print the resume and mail or bring a paper copy to the employer. You might need to upload a digital copy of the resume to an online application or email. The staff in the library's Level 2 Tech Center can assist you with the basics of using a computer to print or upload a document like a resume.
Create a basic resume of your work experience, education, accomplishments and skills. Update it when you are ready to apply for a new job. Include details relevant to that specific job and employer. When possible, write a cover letter tailored to each job application to highlight your qualifications for that specific job.
