A donation to the Friends is a donation to help the library continue to move forward in innovation and technology to better serve the community. The Friends of the Library are very fortunate to receive donations from members, the general public, libraries, businesses and other organizations. Materials donated are used for the inventory for the quarterly Book Sales, Chandler Booktique and Online Sales.
What Can I Donate?
The following is a guide of items we would like to have donated as well as what we are unable to use. All donations should be in good condition, clean, dry and mold-free. The Friends do not recycle books that are in unusable condition or that aren't likely to re-sell.

Tax Deductible
All donations to the Friends of TSCPL are tax deductible. If you would like a letter acknowledging your donation fill out a form in the book barn (see below) and drop it in the box. We will then mail you a letter about your donation. The Friends do not assign value to your donation. If you need an itemized list, you will need to make a list and attach it to the letter you receive from us.

How to Donate
- If you have just a few items to donate, you can take them to the Chandler Booktique in the library.
There is a book barn inside the drive to the dock area (west side of library off Garfield). This barn is for several books or even boxes of books. Place your donations in the bins inside the book barn. You can fill out a donation form in the book barn and leave it in a drop box for tax purposes. - The book barn door is open Sun - Fri 7am - 7pm and Sat 7am - 5pm.
