Turn Up Summer Reading

If you’re reading this summer, we can’t hear you. Let us know you’re reading by signing up for Curiosity Central and track your summer reading and experiences. The past few years we called our summer reading program Summerfest and we’re afraid some people might have missed the name change to Curiosity Central.

There’s still plenty of time to sign up and get your reading done. You have until August 20 to read 12 hours and complete 12 experiences. If you meet this goal, you’ll be entered in a drawing for a Kindle Fire! Everyone under 18 will also get a free book for their personal library when they finish the reading and experience challenge.

Experiences are anything that gets you active and thinking. Let your curiosity run wild! Stretch yourself a little to experience activities that aren’t part of your normal routine. We’ve got a ton of events at that library and activities on the Adventuremobile that all count as experiences. Check out other experience examples at the bottom of this page. Be sure and add some of your own experience ideas.
