This episode we're discussing The Children on the Hill by Jennifer McMahon. Our hosts give you just enough to make you want to read it without giving away the big twist promised at the end. That doesn't mean they don't have strong opinions *about* the twist at the end!
The book centers around three children and the last chance type of resort run by their Nan. Goodreads classifies this book as horror, but our hosts agree with the library's shelving in general fiction. Could there be a genre called "Cozy Horror"? The story includes talk of eugenics, references to Frankenstein (and other monsters) and there's even a rabbit (for those of you keeping track with Chris).
