I was sorely disappointed in the movie. The original show was one of my fav shows back in the day. I didn’t appreciate the movie’s new twist with dude-humor. I like funny movies, but dude-humor just isn’t my thing. If I had to pick his best movie, it would be Zanthura with a little Peta Mellark -er- I mean Josh Hutcherson.
My point is his movie choices haven’t really impressed me, but then I found his podcast.
A couple of years ago I finally figured out the allure of podcasts and I recently came across his Armchair Experts. The podcast is advertised as “… a podcast that celebrates the messiness of being human.” The tagline is not wrong. If you look at his guest list, 90 percent of the conversations are with actors about their work! After listening to a few of them, I think he kinda sparkles as a conversationalist. So now I’m putting his movies on my request list. Here are a few of my takeaways from the podcast episodes I’ve listened to so far:
- Episode 1 goes into a bit more detail about his goals for the podcast, which intrigued me enough to try a few more.
