Book: The Fortune Men by Nadifa Mohamed

Why it's worth your time: Another Book Prize nominee, this book is about a Somali sailor convicted of murder and has great fleshed-out characters.
Book: Hostage by Clare Mackintosh
Reader: Autumn
Why it's worth your time: The protagonist of this INTENSE what the bleep book is a flight attendant on a non-stop flight from London to Sydney. She must choose between saving her daughter's life or the passengers who start dying off.
Book: The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell
Reader: Miranda
Why it's worth your time: This mystery about a grandma who is babysitting when her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend go missing does give you answers.
Book: The Promise by Damon Galgut
Reader: Chris
Why it's worth your time: This history of apartheid in South Africa is the 2021 winner of the Book Prize.
Book: Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr
Reader: Miranda
Why it's worth your time: It's the book she's currently reading, so you'll have to tune in for further discussion!
