Slow Cookers Rock!
Have you ever wanted to come home at the end of a long day and walk into your house to smell a wonderful aroma because dinner was already cooked? I know that I have and that's where my slow cooker comes into play. I had never realized how much a slow cooker could make my life easier until I finally tried using one. There are so many recipes out there that are what I like to call "dump & go" recipes. They are that simple. You dump all the ingredients into the slow cooker, turn it on, and go about your day. One of the beautiful things about a slow cooker is that I don't have to turn my oven on when it's hot outside, like it is during the summer. Where would I start to look for recipes, you may ask? Visit your friendly library Cooking Neighborhood! You would be amazed at the number of slow cooker cookbooks that your library has. I'm going to share with you a few of my favorites.
