The library partnered with the League of Women Voters Topeka-Shawnee County, LULAC Council #11701, MANA de Topeka, NAACP, Topeka Voter Collaborative, WIBW TV and YWCA Northeast Kansas on a Kansas Legislative Candidate Forum on Oct 4, 2022. All candidates for the Kansas House of Representatives from Shawnee County districts were invited. Below is a recording of the second half of the forum, unfortunately recording was not turned on until this point in the event. 

Oct 18, 2022, is the last day to register to vote in the Nov 8, 2022 general election in Shawnee County. Find more voting and election information.
