Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

corbin at mailboxOne of my favorite moments as a parent was curling up with my child on my lap to read a book. We’d each pick our favorite, which usually led to another "favorite book" that also had to be read. The stack of books we read came from the library or a book sale. But some books belonged to my child.

Research shows that being surrounded by lots of books at home helps children. It demonstrates the value of knowledge and provides an environment of learning and growth. A home filled with books also encourages reading for enjoyment. Truly a book opens an entire world to a child.
