DIY Digital Storytime: School Stories
Just in time for a super school year, DIY Digital Storytime is back! Share these stories at home, daycare or school. All you need is your library card and an Internet connection!
This Week's Theme: School Stories
Here's a musical reminder about remembering to raise your hand:
In Edda, by Adam Auerbach, our heroine has a wonderful life in the magical land of Asgard, but there aren't any other kids to play with. She and her family decide Edda will go to school. At first, school is hard, but Edda summons her courage and finds new friends.
Learn sign language for some school words from a kid like you! Be sure to follow along and try out the signs.
Our last story today is How Do Dinosaurs Go to School? by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. Listen carefully and see how many dinosaur names you can remember when you get to the end of the story.
