Canning and Preserving
One of my favorite foods to eat while growing up was pear preserves made by my Mamaw every year. Even today when she sees my father she is sure to send him home with a few cans of pear preserves. Not only is she one of the best cooks ever, she is also responsible for my interest in canning and preserving, and there is no time better to start this venture than Spring and Summer.
