Best Young Adult Fiction 2015

book covers of some best books of 2015 in the YA genre

What are the best teen YA books you read this year?

That's not a rhetorical question- I would love to hear what you have enjoyed! Post suggestions in the comments!

If you have read any of my blog posts this past year, you know that I read YA fiction. Lots and lots of YA fiction.

While I generally stick to stories with a romantic theme, like The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West, I have branched out lately into more action-drama stories like Katie McGarry's Nowhere But Here about a motorcycle gang. I've even tried a few fantasy stories, includingA Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, which I stayed up all night reading because I couldn't put it down! I'm listening to the audiobook of Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo right now; I love that the tagline for this book is "Six Dangerous Outcasts. One Impossible Heist." and the story is quickly pulling me!

Which of these "best" books did you love?

I recommend all four of these titles, but the "Best of 2015" lists have even more titles to recommend.

Do you keep track of what you read each year?  I log my reading at Goodreads.com, rating and reviewing books as I finish them. I can look back through and see what books were my favorites by checking for 4 and 5 star ratings, plus get recommendations for other books to read.
