1.  Get expert help at the Homework Center.

Need help with an assignment, research paper, or just a quiet place to work?  Drop by the Homework Center and work with Tracie and Leah, experienced teachers who will be glad to help you with any subject, any level.  There's free printing and tons of reference resources, too!

2.  Find reliable research sources with library databases.

Whether you're needing basic information for a project or searching for primary sources so you can win the History Day contest, we have tons of databases that are guaranteed to score you more points than if you use Wikipedia.  Use the hack below to speed up your searching.

Pro tip: If you're using an EBSCO database, you can select more databases in order to get more search results. That way you don't have to do the same search over and over.

Your library card also gives you access to free test prep resources from Learning Express when you're prepping for the ACT or SAT.

3.  Get the language-learning edge with mango.

Mango gives you interactive video lessons for more than 70 different languages, including Spanish, French, Japanese, Hindi, and, just for fun, Pirate.  They even have an app for your smartphone or tablet!

4.  Do reading assignments on-the-go with audiobooks.

Even if you don't bring home homework every night, you're probably expected to read for at least 20 minutes.  Some nights that's a piece of cake, but if you and your sister both have a ball game or club meeting, it can be a challenge.  Audiobooks let you get your reading done in the car, while you do your chores, or while you work out.  Download some today or check them out on CD or Playaway.
