The 2025 City of Topeka elected offices are the positions of:
- Topeka Mayor
- Topeka City Council Districts 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
For these elections: A primary election shall only be held if more than three (3) candidates file for the position to be filled. (K.S.A. 25-2108a(b))
2025 elected offices throughout Shawnee County include:
- Auburn Mayor and 2 City Council positions
- Rossville Mayor and 2 City Council positions
- 3 Silver Lake City Council positions
- Willard Mayor and 2 City Council positions
- USD 345, 372, 437, 450, and 501 School Board Positions
- Drainage District Directors
- Sherwood Improvement District Directors
For these elections: A primary election shall only be held if more than three (3) times the number of candidates (file for office) as there are positions to be elected. (K.S.A. 25-2108a(c))
Register to Vote
Complete the Online Voter Registration Application or print the Kansas Voter Registration Application on that page, then mail it to your county election office or return it to the library's customer service desk or any of these Shawnee County voter registration locations.
