August 15th will mark the 42nd anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival where over half a million people showed up to that infamous dairy farm in Bethel, New York. The line-up consisted of 32 acts and many were heavy hitters in the music industry like The Who, The Band, Jefferson Airplane, and Jimi Hendrix.

Thanks to your library, you don’t have to abandon your car at the side of the road, have the national guard airlift supplies to you, or get drenched in the rain to enjoy this historic moment. You can just revisit the festival by checking out Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music. This DVD is the original documentary that the organizers of the festival put together in 1970. If you’d rather just listen to the performances, check out the CD compilation of Woodstock:Three Days of Peace & Music, the 25th Anniversary.
