Ready or Not by Cara Bastone 

It only takes one night to change your whole life and Eve Hatch knows that all too well. She’s used to the normal rhythm of life in her cozy apartment and her steady job. It may not be exactly what she wants, but it’s enough to leave her satisfied.

He’s trying to be supportive but also keeps disappearing. Eve’s relationship with her best friend, Willa, is also becoming increasingly more tense since announcing her pregnancy. The only consistent person in her life anymore seems to be Willa’s brother, Shep. 

As her pregnancy progresses and Eve navigates what her new future looks like, the uncertainty of what’s to come beings to mount. Her apartment isn’t big enough for a baby. Her job might not cut it when there’s two mouths to feed. Furthermore, trying to deal with the baby’s father who has his own problems is complicating the entire situation.  

Ready or Not highlights just how far one is willing to go for family and friends while navigating the complexities of a sudden life shift. It also shows how sometimes the relationships worth fighting for are the ones you find where you least expect them. 

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata 

Aurora De La Torre, better known as Ora, is moving back to the place that used to be home. She knows it won’t be easy, because home isn’t going to be the same now that her mother is gone. This romance may be a slower burn than the romance in Say You’ll Remember Me, but the connection between the main characters is one you don’t want to miss as the raw emotions spill out on the pages.
