1. A Christmas Escape by Anne Perry

"Could have been devised by Agatha Christie . . . a modern master." - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
For countless readers, Christmastime means a delicious new holiday mystery from New York Times bestselling author Anne Perry. A Christmas Escape, her thirteenth noel to the season, transports us to the Mediterranean island of Stromboli for an unconventional Yuletide adventure, and an unforgettable volcanic encounter.
2. Ornaments of Death by Jane K. Cleland

"Distinctive characters, including Josie's Maine coon cat, Hank, help make this holiday cozy a winner." - Publishers Weekly
Josie uses her knowledge of antiques to track miniatures associated with the disappearance of Ian Bennington, her recently discovered distant relative. In doing so, she learns the true meaning of Christmas-and the true meaning of family. Jane Cleland's Ornaments of Death is another masterful addition to the Josie Prescott series.
3. Christmas Joy Ride by Melody Carlson

Miranda did not put adventure on her Christmas list, but thanks to her eighty-five-year-old neighbor Joy, that's exactly what she's getting this year. When Joy tells Miranda that she plans to drive an old RV decked out in Christmas decorations from their Chicago neighborhood to her new retirement digs in Phoenix, the much younger Miranda insists that Joy cannot make such a trip by herself. Besides, a crazy trip with Joy would be more interesting than another Christmas home alone.
4. Keeping Christmas by Dan Walsh

Fan-favorite Dan Walsh invites readers to enjoy this nostalgic Christmas story that celebrates all of our most cherished seasonal traditions, especially the importance of family. Readers will join in remembering the things that make their own Christmas season so special.
5. Christmas at the Mysterious Bookshop edited by Otto Penzler

Each year, for the past seventeen years, Otto Penzler, owner of the legendary Mysterious Bookshop in New York City, has commissioned an original story by a leading mystery writer. The requirements were that it be a mystery/ crime/suspense story, that it be set during the Christmas season, and that at least some of the action must take place in The Mysterious Bookshop. These stories were then produced as pamphlets, 1,000 copies, and given to customers of the bookstore as a Christmas present. Now they've been compiled into a great collection of mystery stories centered around the holidays.
