Some things just get better with age - wine, cheese and scary stories! Remember those scary stories told around the fire while camping? People have been scaring themselves and each other for centuries. Mary Shelly, Bram Stoker, Edgar Allan Poe, Washington Irving and Robert Louis Stevenson are all old school authors who wrote some of the first horror stories that are still told today. These stories are classics but are also so scary that even today's youthful readers enjoy the story.
