Mending the broken heart in The Little Paris Bookshop

Little Paris BookshopOn the river Seine in Paris is a floating bookstore located on a barge moored to the shore for over twenty years. It is called the Literary Apothecary and is owned and run by Monsieur Perdu who skillfully matches a person’s needs with the right book that will help them heal from whatever is troubling them. The only problem is he cannot heal his own broken heart.

For the last twenty-one years he has maintained a strict routine to hide his sorrow of his lost love who left him, and he has held onto the last unopened letter that she sent him. Then one day he opened the letter, and the shock of the news in the letter changed his life. Suddenly he set his floating bookstore free and began a journey down the river with two cats, an author who is unable to write, and an Italian chef in The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George. This international best-selling novel features regret and loss but more importantly it is about healing and the power of love.
