Lowrider Car Show 2021 winners

The library hosted our first Lowrider Car Show on Sat, Sept 18. This was held in connection with the La Comunidad art exhibit, which you can see in the Alice C. Sabatini Gallery through Nov 22. Let's take a look at the winning vehicles and a few of the other highlights.

1st place winner Aaron Molina

Aaron Molina, Juarez Car Club, won with his 1950 Chevy truck named Adelita.

2nd place winner Israel Perez

Israel Perez won with his 1978 Ford Econoline that he chopped 8 inches off the top.

3rd place winner Geno Rios

Geno Rios won with his 1987 Buick Regal.

Other Highlights

Check out a few of the other vehicles from the show. We had more than 30 lowriders (cars and bikes) at this event and more than 600 people stopped by to admire the lowrider owners' work.
