Legal thriller, historical fiction & humor author Lisa Scottoline
Lisa Scottoline is a bestselling author of more than 35 novels including the Lisa Rosato & Associates series. Her works have been featured numerous times on the New York Times bestsellers list and she has been awarded the prestigious Edgar Award for her crime novel Final Appeal. Scottoline's background as an attorney gives her the edge on insider info, allowing her to tell dramatic, realistic, heart-pounding crime fiction stories with multi-dimensional characters who are hard to forget. She will be at the library Mon, Sept 30 for an author talk and will share her most recent novel, a standalone thriller, The Truth about the Devlins. Register now to attend this event as we expect seats will fill up quickly.
While Scottoline is well known and loved for her nail-biting crime fiction, she’s also written several historical fiction novels and co-authored numerous essay collections with her daughter, Francesca Serritella. These humorous essays feature relatable stories of everyday life from a woman’s perspective. Writing together, Lisa and Francesca give insight to some universal truths of modern womanhood that will leave you feeling like you’ve just met your new best friends.
As part of her presentation at the library, each registered attendee will receive a copy of Scottoline's newest book The Truth About the Devlins. This book hit number 6 on the New York Times Bestsellers List just two weeks after its release. It’s easy to see why with a hook that grabs readers from the very first page when one Devlin brother (the golden child) confesses to another Devlin brother (the black sheep of the family) that he’s just committed murder. What follows is a legal drama turned family drama that will keep you turning pages and guessing until the very end.
