Diane Keaton puts on lipstick!

Movie star Diane Keaton once gave some useful and amusing advice for women: "Don't give up on yourself. So you make a mistake here and there; you do too much or you do too little. Just have fun. Smile. And keep putting on lipstick."

The veteran actress certainly takes her own advice. She has a new Holiday movie in theaters right now: "Love The Coopers", and she has made a movie every year since 1970. That's a lot of makeup and lipstick!  Diane will turn 70 on January 5th, but she shows no signs of slowing down.  She is working on two new movies set to come out in 2016.

After seeing her in the 2005 Holiday film "The Family Stone", I realized that she is an impeccable actor.   I've been a big fan ever since, and I heartily recommend her films to you.  The library owns over 30 of her movies as well as her two autobiographies, "Then Again" and "Let's Just Say It Wasn't Pretty.  Here is a short list of my favorites:
