Death Arrives in The Troop

Scoutmaster Tim and his troop of five young teenage boys went on their annual hiking trip. The boys were all different from popular to nerd, but over the years they had worked out a way to get along though sometimes at one another’s expense. The trip started like the previous outings, but on the first night after the ghost stories, an uninvited visitor arrived at their camp.

The visitor was very sick with an emaciated body and an insatiable hunger that drove him into insanity. Tim who was also a doctor tried to help him, but Tim did not know that the man carried something lethal and very contagious.

Soon Tim and the boys realize they could catch this deadly nightmare and go crazy with hunger. The paranoia grows as they watch for the illness in each other with increasing threats of violence in The Troop by Nick Cutter.
