Teen romance novels aren't a place where you might expect to find many characters who are still in their infancy. Sure, sometimes the guys or gals don't act all that mature, but actual babies are few and far between.
Some recent reads inspired me to pull together recommendations for teen romances with babies.
Big Families are Best

When Huntley Fitzpatrick's
My Life Next Door came out 2 years ago, I couldn't get enough of the Garrett family and I didn't want the story to end. Apparently neither could the author, because her brand new novel,
The Boy Most Likely To, picks up the story with the older Garrett sister, Alice, and her younger brother's best friend, Mason. You should start by reading My Life Next Door so that you can enjoy the continued story of the Garrett family. I can't even hint at why this book is on this list because it would give too much away!
Lost Love Returned

In
How to Love by Katie Cotugno, a tumultuous love affair between Reena and Sawyer ends when Sawyer abruptly abandons their Florida town. When he returns almost three years later, Reena is raising their daughter. After everything that's happened, can Reena really let herself love Sawyer LeGrande again? This was a moving and powerful story, and one of my recent favorites.
Guaranteed to Make you Cry
The First Part Last by Angela Johnson: Bobby's a classic urban teenager. He's restless. He's impulsive. But the thing that makes him different is this: He's going to be a father. His girlfriend, Nia, is pregnant, and their lives are about to change forever.
Watch the Movie
Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen: Halley has always followed in the wake of her best friend, Scarlett. But when Scarlett learns that her boyfriend has been killed in a motorcycle accident, and that she's carrying his baby, she was devastated. This book along with
That Summer are the two books that served as inspiration for the film
How to Deal starring Mandy Moore.
Have you read a YA book that included a pregnancy or baby? What about movies? What do you recommend?
