Artsy Crafty Library: Digital magazine inspiration

I love browsing artsy and crafty magazines for new ideas, but I hate having a pile of magazines on my coffee table. Even though I've given up most of my print magazine subscriptions I don't miss out on the crafty content. I access a huge variety of digital magazines on Libby with my library card.

While you may have used Libby for ebooks and audiobooks, you may not know there are more than 4,000 digital magazines available for check out through Libby. Even better, magazines don't count against your monthly Libby book checkout limit.

To find magazines in the Libby app search by keyword or browse magazine titles by clicking on the magazine category. Once you've found a magazine you want to read, you can check it out to read in a browser on your computer, or through the app on a phone or tablet.

If you subscribe to a magazine in Libby, the newest issue will automatically be added to your shelf. You can even check out back issues of magazines. Some titles have up to 10 years of back issues available.

In browsing the collection of crafty titles I found magazines on sewing, cross-stitching, embroidery, crochet, knitting, quilting, weaving, spinning and beading. There are several woodworking titles too including Popular Woodworking, Woodsmith and Wood Magazine.
