Hand-dyed lapa cloth: dark indigo border, thin blue stipe, and resist from batik resist of pale blue triple zigzag line patterns. Kola (orange dye) and indigo (blue) dyes on cotton damask. Blue is probably from indigo, but pale.
The object was made in Liberia, Africa.
