Kansas Matters: Twenty-First-Century Writers on the Sunflower State is an anthology of poetry and prose from 35 of today’s leading literary voices from the Sunflower State, brought together to explore how Kansas makes us feel and why we’re proud to call it home.
Anthology editors Thomas Fox Averill and Leslie VonHolten will be joined by contributors Marcia Cebulska, Jeffrey Ann Goudie, Valerie Mendoza and Josh Svaty in a lively discussion on why Kansas matters. Books will be available for purchase onsite.
This event is supported by the Center for Kansas Studies at Washburn University.
