Find a Rewarding Gig at our Volunteer Fair

Learn how you can be a community volunteer at the Make a Difference in Your Community Volunteer Fair. This event features members from over 20 nonprofit organizations in Shawnee County that need your help. There will be booths and exhibits to showcase volunteer opportunities for youth through older adults. Look for interactive displays and giveaways.

“Volunteers are the most important resource community organizations have. The willingness of people to work together for the betterment of their community and themselves is invaluable,” said Debra Tucker, President of MOVE. “As we look to the future of our city and county, we envision an increasing awareness of the need for volunteers and a greater appreciation of each volunteer’s contributions. Our MOVE – Managers of Volunteer Engagement – organization consists of managers of non-profit groups and organizations all over Topeka and Shawnee County.’”
