The Bookmobile will not be at any stops this week for scheduled maintenance. We will resume a normal schedule Tuesday, May 28.

National Home Safety Month

June is National Home Safety Month, and the Home Safety Council provides an interactive home injury prevention tool called MySafeHome.org. This tool takes visitors into a virtual home and identifies major risk areas inside and outside the home. It then provides safety devices and preparedness plans for each area identified. This website also provides home safety tips concerning poison and choking prevention, water safety, child safety, fire prevention, and falls.

You might also want to look at the Home Safety Council’s website (www.homesafetycouncil.org) which provides links to home safety videos, Home Safety Council research, and a personalized safety checklist generator.
