Preschool Storytime: Want to Play Trucks?

Hey everyone it’s time for preschool storytime with Miss Rhonda. Today I’ll read Want to Play Trucks? By Ann Stott and Bob Graham.

Parent Tip

This would be a great time to let your child practice their scissor skills. You draw the shape and let your child cut it out. Allowing your child to have an opportunity to practice cutting in a controlled setting will build their confidence and help develop their fine motor skills. Have them keep the scissors steady in their dominate hand and the other hand “steers” the paper. Now that you have several shapes to choose from let’s see how many different kinds of trucks can you make. Little Family Fun.com has directions to make trucks with shapes using colored paper, a discarded cereal box or even a newspaper.
