Preschool Storytime: Cow Boy is Not a Cowboy

Hi friends! Thanks for joining me, Miss Theresa, and Boomer Bear for Storytime today. The book we’re reading is a funny one called Cow Boy is Not a Cowboy by Gregory Barrington.

Parent Tip

Everyday activities, like family meals or shopping are good opportunities to work on your child’s literacy development. Five minutes a few times a day can be enough if your day is a busy one. Activities can be as simple as writing a shopping list together, playing a rhyming game or reading a story before bed.

I have worked with preschool children for more than 30 years, both as a teacher and as an Outreach Storyteller. I like to cook, tend to my vegetable garden, and make jam and pickles in my spare time. I love cats! If you want a great picture book, I'm happy to help you out.
