Passes are available April - Dec. Please check back in April for 2024 passes.

Pick up a free pass for single day vehicle entry into any of 22 state parks in Kansas. Kansas State Parks is partnering with the Kansas Public Library System to provide free, daily vehicle permits.

How to Get a State Park Pass

 

  • Library Program

    Go to the Customer Service Desk ask for a Kansas State Parks vehicle Permit.

  • Each issued vehicle permit will be good for one specific day only, which will be written on the front of the permit. Please decide which date you want to visit a State Park before you come in to get a pass.
  • Park permits do not need to be returned.
  • Display the permit in your vehicle windshield when you enter a State Park.
