Library Fantasy Football Update

football - pep talk - resizedNine weeks of the NFL season are in the books, and the library’s fantasy football league is more than halfway to it’s postseason. Check out the league standings below to see who might be bringing home the trophy this year:

Division 1

  1. Warriors 7-2
  2. Kevin’s Team 7-2
  3. GR’s Dawgs 5-4
  4. Mark’s Maulers 5-4
  5. Chicago Chupacabras 3-6
  6. Amish Fight Club 3-6

Division 2

  1. Zit City Manglers 7-2
  2. BDA’s Posse 6-3
  3. Horny Toads 3-6
  4. The Ruby Sharks 3-6
  5. The Pigskinners 3-6
  6. Dandy Don Fan Club 2-7

The Warriors have scored the most points of anyone in the league, led by the Falcons duo of Devonta Freeman and Julio Jones, while also getting production from Rob Gronkowski. Kevin’s Team could be poised to overtake them, however, with the emergence of Todd Gurley, the return to health of Alshon Jeffrey, and a rejuvenated Drew Brees. GR’s Dawgs and Mark’s Maulers also cannot be counted out in the first division as they have solid teams and will continue to be a factor heading into the playoffs.

In the second division it seems to be a two team race between the Zit City Manglers and BDA’s Posse. The Manglers are led by Emmanuel Sanders, Brandon Marshall, and Jarvis Landry, while the Posse is paced by DeAndre Hopkins, Dez Bryant and Matt Forte.

It will be a fight to the finish, and anything can happen in the playoffs. Stay tuned for more updates and to see who will lift the trophy at the end of the season.
