Local Authors Publishing Two Books at Library

superimposed-300Writers working collaboratively at the  Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library have expanded the Community Novel project in 2014 to include two different novels.

Read the novels online for free – or purchase your own keepsake print editions! Both novels are serialized online weekly throughout Summer 2014.

 Superimposed is written by twenty different authors told through alternating chapters set in present day Topeka and flashback chapters.

Spirits of Oz is written by ten different authors or author teams and illustrated by adult, teen and kid artists. The story takes place in Topeka and is written for middle-grades readers.

To enter: comment on this post with the title of the book you want to win. If you love mysteries with history and adventure, comment “Superimposed”. If you want to read a spooky story with ghost hunting twins, comment “Spirits of Oz”. A winner will be randomly selected from all comments and announced here on June 25, 2014.

Reminder: these novels are still works-in-progress, so the autographed copy prize can’t be awarded until the Book Launch and Author Signing Event on September 28, 2014.

Print and mail your pre-order form, or deliver it to the library. Pre-order forms must be received by August 15, 2014.

Copies of Superimposed and Spirits of Oz will also be available for sale at the Book Launch and Author Signing Event on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 3-5 in the Marvin Auditorium. The printed book will also be available for sale from amazon.com after that date.
